DO I NEED SPECIFIC RUNNING TRAINERS?
We recommend you get properly fitted trail-running shoes and use elastic laces to save time in transition.
You will need layers of clothing as the top section is slow and cold. For safety we recommend that all runners have a hat, gloves and full-length top/bottoms, whistle, food, water bottle, space blanket. This can all fit in a very small ruck sack.
Although not mandatory, we advise that you wear leggings, and have a top layer you can take off/put on easily over a running shirt. Gloves are useful in case of a fall, as are leggings.
